Disclosed are a main image processing apparatus, a sub image processing apparatus and a control method thereof. The control method of the sub image processing apparatus includes receiving a user's touch input through the sub image processing apparatus; determining which contents correspond to a touched area where the touch input occurs; sensing change in location of the touch input; and transmitting a control command for the contents to the main image processing apparatus in response to the sensed change in the location of the touch input. With this, it is more convenient for a user to control the main image processing apparatus through the sub image processing apparatus supporting the touch input.

1. A control method of a display apparatus in communication with an external display apparatus, the control method comprising:
displaying a plurality of selectable contents on a display of the display apparatus; receiving an touch input for selecting one of the plurality of selectable contents and a drag input following the touch input; transmitting information on the selected content to the external display apparatus in response to the touch input and the drag input so that the external display apparatus displays an image corresponding to the selected content; and after transmitting the information on the selected content to the external display apparatus, displaying a plurality of menu items on the display of the display apparatus to control the displayed image on the external display apparatus.
