The invention discloses an apparatus and a method of processing a multimedia content. A content processing apparatus 100 includes: a display 116 displaying a multimedia content and associated levels of at least one characteristic of at least two components of the multimedia content; an interface 108 receiving a command for modifying the level of the at least one characteristic of at least one of the components with regard to at least one of the other components; and a processor 102 modifying the at least one of the at least two components according to the level of the at least one characteristic requested by the command.
