PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which an ink cartridge can be reliably locked to a cartridge holder. ! SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an ink cartridge in which a substantially heart-shaped cam groove is formed; and a cartridge holder. The cartridge holder includes: a rotatable lock member 311 in which a salient 312 moving following the cam groove when the ink cartridge is mounted in the cartridge holder is provided; and a spring for pressurizing the lock member 311 to a rotative direction. A first surface 315a of the lock member 311, which receives a pressurization force P from the spring, is provided at a position separated from a rotation axis O1, and is an inclined plane which is inclined with respect to a direction along the rotation axis O1. Pressurization force P from the spring acts on the inclined plane, so that component forces act in a direction of rotating the lock member 311 and a direction of pressing the salient 312 side of the lock member 311 |
