An apparatus for monitoring a wind power generation system is disclosed. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a camera unit obtaining an image with respect to mechanical components of a wind power generation system; a sensor unit detecting monitoring information with respect to each element of a power converter of the wind power generation system; and a control unit storing image data at the time that a change is occurred when the image received from the camera unit has the change in contrast to the image in a normal state and storing the monitoring data at the time that the change is occurred when the monitoring data received from the sensor unit has the change.
