PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag body capable of being produced without three-dimensional sewing, capable of improving yielding percentage and reducing production cost. ! SOLUTION: An air bag body (1, 2) of a curtain air bag comprises: a bag part (10, 40); and a gas introduction part (20, 50) projecting outward from the bag part (10, 40). First and second base cloth bodies (1a, 1b, 2a, 2b) forming a first face side and a second face side of the air bag body (1, 2) are configured so that first and second main base clothes (11, 12, 41, 42) forming the bag part (10, 40) and first and second gas introduction pieces (21, 22, 51) for forming the gas introduction part (20, 50) are respectively joined at a first junction (31) and a second junction.
