PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate some disadvantages found in a reciprocating engine by concentrating a force at one piston pin while two pistons being set as one set that even if an explosion occurs at the maximum pressure at its top dead center, it does not generate any rotational force due to straight crank angle, a horse power is generated by increasing the number of revolution due to no occurrence of rotational force unless the compression pressure is decreased.SOLUTION: Combustion chambers in two engines are communicated to each other to form one chamber and operations of the two piston pins are performed under a certain difference in timing so as to collect much amount of compression air at one cylinder and cause the one piston pin to be delayed, resulting in that when a preceding piston is bent by about 35°, its subsequent crank pin occupies the top dead center. When the maximum expansion occurs at this point, it becomes possible to output a rotational force of 80% to 90% from the beginning. |
