PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage box which exhibits a satisfiable cutting property practically without metal serration, can maintain effect of the property until the stored film-like article is used up, and reduces risk of injuring a hand or the like in handling the storage box. ! SOLUTION: A storage box of an approximately rectangular parallelepiped stores a wound film-like article, and includes: a storage chamber of an approximately rectangular parallelepiped which is formed of a front surface plate 5, a bottom surface plate 4, a rear surface plate 6, and a side surface plate 3 and is opened on an upper side; a lid surface plate 2 which is connected from an upper end edge of the rear surface plate in a direction of covering an opening part of the storage chamber, and can open and close; and a cover piece 1 which extends from a front end edge of the lid surface plate in a direction of covering the front surface plate.
