<p>The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for managing a history of a web browser, and more particularly, to a method and an apparatus for managing a history of a web browser by classifying a history of a web browser based on the information of a related web browser, thus improving convenience and accessibility as a user re-accesses a web page the user has accessed. A method for managing a history of a web browser according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: accessing a web page; generating tag information by extracting a certain amount of information among connection path to a web page, connection method and characteristic information of a web page; generating history information including tag information relative to the accessed web page; and classifying the history information based on the tag information and storing the same. The present invention manages the history information of a web page according to a user′s intention and thereby provides convenience and improves accessibility to a web page to which a user has accessed.</p> |
