PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for sharing information on a state change between devices capable of network communication.SOLUTION: A device state change notification method forms a network between devices that a user uses and that are capable of network communication, and if an operation state of a first device is changed in the network between the devices, searches for at least one device being used by the user in the network between the devices, transmits information on the operation state change of the first device to the at least one device searched for, thereby having a display unit of the other device display the information on the operation state change of the first device.
