In the present invention, the cooling efficiency of a battery pack is improved, multiple battery packs are mounted on a storage battery board, and the battery packs are cooled with good efficiency. A power storage device (10) has a storage battery board (11) provided with multiple shelves (18) that each have disposed therein multiple battery packs (21). The battery packs (21) have multiple horizontally-extending battery cells (22) and end plate members (23, 24). Each of the shelves (18) has a ventilation hole (27) for forming a cooling channel (29) that extends from the bottom to the top of the inside of the storage battery board (11) so as to traverse the battery cells (22). On a ceiling wall (15) of the storage battery board (11), provided is a cooling fan (33) for generating a cooling air flow in the cooling channel (29).
