PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silicone-based copolymer resin powder, which is mixed in a hair cosmetic, a makeup cosmetic, a sunscreen, and the like and can provide them with slidability, soft feeling, and water repellency.SOLUTION: Provided is silicone-based copolymer resin powder which is obtained by polymerizing an ethylenic unsaturated group-containing monomer as a shell component with a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing an ethylenic unsaturated group-containing monomer with an organopolysiloxane containing at least two hydroxyl groups bound to a silicone atom in one molecule as a core skelton, the organopolysiloxane being obtained by reacting a silane coupling agent having an alkoxy group and a polymerizable double bond with a siloxane oligomer represented by formula (1) obtained by opening a ring of a cyclic organosiloxane in the presence of an acid catalyst and an anionic surfactant, and which has a content of the cyclic organosiloxane of 0.3% or less and a content of the anionic surfactant of 1% or less. |
