PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing apparatus having a simple configuration, configured to reduce warm-up time, and an image forming apparatus including the same. ! SOLUTION: A fixing apparatus includes: a fixing member which moves in a predetermined direction to heat a toner image; a pressure member which presses the fixing member to form a nip part; a magnetic flux generation unit which generates a magnetic flux; a heating member having a magnetic shunt material, and heating the fixing member with heat generated by the magnetic flux; and a magnetic shielding member arranged inside the heating member. The fixing apparatus includes adjustment means for adjusting pressing force of the pressure member, and interlocking means which interlocks the adjustment means with the magnetic shielding member.
