An information apparatus (1) comprises a device that operates in accordance with a plurality of pieces of setting information obtained through multiple initializations, and a processor (10) that performs device initialization and that is provided with: a first control unit that runs, on a base software, a first software that performs processing using the device; and a second control unit that, at the stage where some of the multiple initializations have finished, uses some of the setting information obtained through the multiple initializations prior to the running of the first software to operate the device, and runs a second software that performs processing which uses the device.
