PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device which has high learning accuracy of a reference position and can detect abnormality in function relevant to reference position learning.SOLUTION: A control device comprises: a current limit circuit 75 for limiting a current flowing through a winding wire 22 and MOSs 61, 62, 63 in a manner such that a current value detected by a current detection circuit 74 selectively coincides with any of a predetermined first current limit value and a predetermined second current limit value; and an MPU 80 which causes a motor 20 to rotate until a detent plate 32 stops at a limit position of a movable range while limiting a current flowing through the winding wire 22 and the MOSs 61, 62, 63 by the current limit circuit 75 to lean a reference position. The MPU 80 calculates an amount of change of a rotation angle of the detent plate 32 when changing from a first state where the current value coincides with the first current limit value to a second state where the current value coincides with the second current limit value, and determines that the current detection circuit 74 is abnormal when the amount of change is out of a predetermined range. |
