A method includes forming a component on a layer-by-layer basis using additive manufacturing, forming a shroud support structure on a layer-by-layer basis using additive manufacturing, and removing the shroud support structure after forming the component. The component includes a central portion and at least one feature extending generally radially from a first end connected to the central portion to a second end distal to the central portion.
