发明名称 HEAT EXCHANGER WITH SUPERHYDROPHOBICITY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
摘要 <p>A heat exchanger with superhydrophobicity, and a method to manufacture the same are provided. A method to manufacture a heat exchanger with superhydrophobicity comprises the steps of: preparing a pre-manufactured heat exchanger; forming a nano/micro-structure on at least a heat transfer surface of the heat exchanger by immersing the pre-manufactured heat exchanger in an etching solution; and drying the formed nano/micro-structure in a vacuum. Therefore, there are no deterioration problems of the superhydrophobicity which can be generated during an assembly of the heat exchanger, as a process to impart superhydrophobicity to the heat transfer surface can be conducted after a completion of manufacturing the heat exchanger. Also, the process is simplified and costs and time are reduced by imparting superhydrophobicity to the heat transfer surface of the heat exchanger using an immersion method drying in a vacuum. Moreover, adhesion of water drops and frost can be reduced by applying oil to the nano/micro structure.</p>
