<p>The present invention relates to a sonar system which reduces complexity of a target detector and makes it possible to precisely detect a target in circumstances where target speed is not known, and a method for detecting the target thereof including: a step of establishing a speed range of the detection target; a step of estimating a signal change generated by the target in each speed range; a step of generating a FM transmission signal by reversely applying the estimated signal change to a standard FM signal; and a step of transmitting the generated FM transmission signal to the target. The present invention estimates the signal change according to the target to detect, reversely transmits the signal, to which the estimated signal change is applied, to the target, and constantly maintains the form of the reflected and received signal, thereby reducing the realization complexity of a receiving system of the sonar system.</p> |
