<p>An apparatus for counting people within a target region is disclosed. The apparatus comprises: a wireless transceiving unit; and a control unit. The wireless transceving unit radiates impulse electromagnetic waves to the target region and receives reflective signals from the target region by using a phased array antenna. The control unit calculates the signal strength of the reflective signals by receiving time and counting people according to the signal strength, applying the fact that the signal strength becomes weaker proportionally to the receiving time.</p> |
