<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device capable of providing a function necessary for a user even if a vehicle travel condition necessary for executing a predetermined function is not met. <P>SOLUTION: An information providing device perform: holding plural function execution rules each prescribing a vehicle travel condition necessary for executing a predetermined function; determining whether a function execution rule prescribing a vehicle travel condition that a vehicle satisfies exists on the basis of the present travelling condition of the vehicle, and if determining that no such rule exists, determining whether a function execution rule prescribing a vehicle travel condition that the vehicle will possibly satisfy in the future exists on the basis of the present travelling condition, and if determining that such a rule exists, presenting a user with the vehicle travel condition that the vehicle will possibly satisfy in the future and a function allowing execution when the vehicle travel condition is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
