<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: although a bending roller for bending a flat material with four roll axes can perform bending work to obtain the flat material having a desired bending radius, an aperture width after the bending work varies according to the flat material. <P>SOLUTION: A thickness of a flat material to be supplied to a roll axis is measured. Then a position of a roll axis is controlled based on its output, and whether or not a bending work is additionally needed is determined based on aperture width information obtained by measuring an aperture width of the bent flat material. When the bending work is additionally performed, the elevating amount of the roll axis is determined, thereby achieving stable bending work. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
