PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the possibility to extract data from a sound in a device for transmitting the data by utilizing the sound for a transmission medium. ! SOLUTION: By transmitting frames while deviating the transmission timing of the frames from each other between a plurality of frequency bands, immunity to multipath fading or noise mixture can be obtained and in comparison with the case of transmitting one frame by using only one frequency band, substantial transmission rate improvement can be expected. Further, when selecting a block forming the frame, the block is selected according to the condition that the period required for collecting a sound on which the block subjected to the selection is superposed is shortened, such that rate reduction can be prevented even if an event of substantial rate reduction of data transmission occurs. !
