PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front part structure of a vehicle body which has a simple structure and can easily protect occupants in a collision of a vehicle. ! SOLUTION: A front part structure of a vehicle body includes: a pair of right and left front pillars 3 of a cab-over type vehicle 1; a dashboard 5 in which both end parts in a vehicle width direction are firmly fixed on the front pillars 3, and a lower end part is firmly fixed on a floor panel across the entire region in the vehicle width direction; a dash member 6 which is provided on a front surface side of the dashboard 5 in a front-back direction of a vehicle for forming a closed cross section part S2 with the dashboard 5 in a vertical direction of the vehicle and has both end parts in the vehicle width direction that are firmly fixed on the front pillars 3; and a front panel 23 provided on the front surface side of the dash member 6 in the front-back direction of the vehicle.
