The invention relates to an omega-type ring with a thread which is installed in a mining anchor to be used to prevent rock fall that puts the health of people entering the mine at risk. The advantages of said omega-type ring with a thread include: the omega-type ring allows elements of services required by the mine, such as electric wiring, water pipes and gas pipes, to be placed thereon, suspended in mid-air; it can be installed using manual and mechanised appliances; and the flat washer allows a suitable seat for the mining plate, which provides the plate with higher resistance, preventing its premature deformation. The omega-type ring with a thread is a complement for the mining anchor for supporting rock in the underground works of the mining industry. |
