According to the present invention, a system and a method for dehumidification execute a dehumidification process after a humidification process for applying moisture to incoming air and changing the air into low temperature humid air using evaporative latent heat in order to remove a certain amount of moisture included in the incoming air to make it into dry air. Furthermore, wet channels for humidification are arranged to come in contact with each other to allow the evaporative latent heat in a wet channel to be used as cooling energy in adjacent wet channel. In addition to this, a plurality of cooling plates which gradually decreases the surface temperature in the flow direction or air is arranged at regular intervals to gradually cool air, thereby increasing dehumidification speed and efficiency.
