PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly detect a body height of an operator regardless of clothes or an illumination environment, and to automatically adjust a position of an operation part or pose thereof.SOLUTION: An image formation device 1 comprises: a device main body 11; an infrared ray sensor 80 that is provided above the device main body 11, detects an infrared ray radiated from a human body at a location above a head of the human body and generates an electric signal corresponding to an amount of energy of the infrared ray; a body height detection unit 101 that detects a body height of the human body in accordance with the amount of energy of the infrared ray when the infrared ray sensor 80 detects the infrared ray radiated from the human body getting close to the device main body 11 and a detection time until the amount of energy of the infrared ray reaches a prescribed value since the infrared ray is detected; an operation unit 47 that is capable of an angle adjustment and includes a display unit 473 displaying an operation guidance and the like for an operator; and a control unit 100 that adjusts the operation unit 47 to an angle in accordance with the body height detected by the body height detection unit 101. |
