A gate bidirectional-opening apparatus (100) comprises a housing (1), a connection rod (2) disposed in the housing (1), and two groups of locking mechanisms (3) disposed on two ends of the connection rod (2). Each groups of the locking mechanisms (3) comprise a locking piece (31) pivotally connected onto the housing (1), and comprises a pivotal shaft (22) and a movable groove (33) fitted with each other to connect the locking piece (31) and the connection rod (2). The housing (1) are provided with an opening portion (10) opened outwards. The locking piece (31) is provided with a hook (311) extending into the opening portion (10). The gate bidirectional-opening apparatus (100) also comprises a toggle mechanism (4) disposed on the housing (1) and fitted to the connection rod (2). The toggle mechanism (4) drives the connection rod (2) to move, so as to drive the locking piece (31) to be extended into or separated from the opening portion (10).
