<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartoner that can reliably pack an accumulation body in which flat articles of indeterminate form are stacked in a case in a stable state. <P>SOLUTION: The cartoner includes an article supply means 10 that supplies the accumulation body PG stacking a light-weight flat pillow package body of indeterminate form in which flat articles such as masks are packaged one by one to a supply positionαon an article conveying path, an article conveying means 20 for conveying the accumulation body PG supplied to the supply positionαalong the article conveying path, a carton conveying means 30 for conveying a carton C whose body is opened cylindrically to an insertion regionβ, and an article inserting means 40 for inserting the accumulation body PG into the carton C in the insertion regionβon the article conveying path while conveying the accumulation body PG by the article conveying means 20. The article inserting means 40 has a pusher 44 for pushing the accumulation body PG to the side of the article conveying path and a holding means 48 for holding the accumulation body PG from above in the insertion regionβ.
