Provided are: a polyester film for solar cells, which exhibits excellent heat resistance and hydrolysis resistance; and a highly durable solar cell provided with a back sheet made using the polyester film. A polyester film for solar cells, in which the terminal carboxyl group concentration is 13eq/ton or lower, and the fine (very small) endothermic peak temperature, Tmeta, is 220°C or lower as determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). |
