<p>The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for providing a user interface in a mobile device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing a user interface in a mobile device having a touch screen comprises the steps of: displaying a contact information list including at least one selectable contact information on the touch screen according to a certain control signal; selecting at least one contact information from the contact information list; and displaying a basic screen including a touch button corresponding to the selected contact information on one side of the touch screen. If the displayed touch button is selected, communication to the contact information is connected. Accordingly, the method for providing the user interface in the mobile device can provide individualized mobile environment.</p> |
