The present invention relates to a cover member for protecting the lens of the camera module. The cover member for protecting the lens of the camera module according to the present invention comprises: a cover tape forming the whole body; an adhesive part formed on one side of the cover tape to be attached the area except the lens inserting hole at the top surface of the housing; and a connection guide member formed on one side of the adhesive part in the position corresponding to the lens inserting hole, so that the connection guide member can be inserted into the lens inserting hole when attached to the housing of the cover member. According to the present invention, the protruded connection guide member is formed on one side of the adhesive part to allow the connection guide member to be inserted into the top part of the lens inserting hole of the housing when the cover member is connected to the housing to prevent the surface of the lens from becoming tainted with the adhesive entering the lens hole and also avoid defect and contamination on the outer surface of the camera module, which are caused when the cover member is wrongly attached or pushed out. |
