The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for protecting call conversation when a mobile phone, during a call, is connected to a vehicle. More specifically, when the mobile phone, during a call, is connected to the vehicle, voices of the call are prevented from being automatically output to the inside of the vehicle so that call conversation of a user can be protected. The method includes the steps of: determining whether the mobile phone is connected to the vehicle; determining whether the mobile phone, connected to the vehicle, is operating for a call; and maintaining a current state of the call of the mobile phone until a signal for allowing voice output to the inside of the vehicle is obtained from a mobile phone user after determining the mobile phone is operating for a call. |
