The filter (1) has multi-metallic perovskite type oxide based catalytic composition for catalytic reduction of soots e.g. carbonated particles, and exhaust gas passage channels (2) separated by porous walls (5). The catalytic composition comprises lanthanum-manganese-silver oxide whose index ranges from 0 to 0.2. The catalytic composition is partially substituted by a chemical element that is selected from calcium, barium, potassium and strontium, or by silver. A portion of the catalytic composition is deposited in porosity of a porous filtering substrate.
