　A bevel gear pair is characterized in being provided with a large-diameter bevel gear (11) that is relatively large in diameter and a small-diameter bevel gear (21) that meshes with the large-diameter bevel gear and that is relatively small in diameter, the tooth profile roundness of the meshing tooth profile in a tooth surface (15) of the large-diameter bevel gear having a tooth profile round shape protruding outward by a dimension (E) of at least 100 μm from an imaginary line (L) passing through a tooth tip (15y) and a location nearest the tooth root in the meshing tooth profile, and the tooth surface of the small-diameter bevel gear having an allowable tooth profile error of 20 μm or less.
