<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column device in which it is taken into consideration that when a vertical direction position of a steering wheel is adjusted, an angle of a wheel surface is not changed.SOLUTION: A steering jacket 3 is suspended and supported with respect to a drive unit 1 having a mounting bracket 2 as a main body via a first link member 4 and a second link member 5 which are arranged in X-shape. Movements of both the link members 4, 5 are restricted by slots 26, 27 and a pin 28. A journal part configured from pins 13, 15 are set in front and rear sliders 10, 11 which constitute also independent nut members, and the sliders 10, 11 are engaged with a common screw shaft having a left-hand screw. By moving the nut members in an approach direction or a separation direction, the steering jacket 3 is parallel-displaced in a vertical direction.</p> |
