<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door latch device in which unintentional door opening can be prevented by raising strength and stiffness.SOLUTION: In a door latch device which comprises a fork 8 which can move to a latch position where the fork is engaged with a striker and to an open position where the engagement is released, a claw 9 which can move between an engagement position where the claw is engaged with the fork 8 and a non-engagement position where the claw is not engaged with the fork, a front base 3 and a rear base 2 which support the fork 8 and the claw 9 as rotatable, and a fence block 4 which includes a cushion (buffering part) 14 contacting a striker, the fork 8 and the claw 9 are arranged between the rear base 2 and the lower surface of the front base 3, the fence block 4 is arranged and fixed at the upper surface side of the front base 3, and the fork 8 and the claw 9 are pivotally-supported as rotatable by a fork shaft 10 and a claw shaft 11 both ends of which are fixed and supported by the rear base 2 and the front base 3 respectively.</p> |
