PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly demount a recording medium from an apparatus body even if receiving the recording medium while a locking member of a case is locked in a central hole. SOLUTION: A CD player 1 includes: an apparatus body 3; a carriage chassis 23 which includes a pickup part which reads information from a CD 2; a clamp arm 24 which holds the CD 2 by the carriage chassis 23; and a slide cam 31. The slide cam 31 includes guide holes 39 and 40 which slide together with projection pins 30 which are prepared in the carriage chassis 23 and the clamp arm 24, respectively. A tilt θ1 with respect to an insertion/ejection direction of the CDs 2 of accommodation-time moving parts 41c and 42c at a side to which the projection pin 30 is positioned when the CD2 is accommodated rather than tops 41a and 42a of respective inside faces 41 and 42 of the guide holes 39 and 40 is formed smaller than tilts θ2 of ejection time moving parts 41b and 42b at a side to which the projection pin 30 moves when the CD2 is ejected out of the apparatus body 3 rather than the tops 41a and 42a.
