PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of preventing a latch switch in a battery driven type electronic apparatus which powers ON and OFF a computer through the latch switch from malfunctioning with a simple circuit constitution, and using a switch triggering the latch switch to turn ON as operation input means for the computer.SOLUTION: A battery driven type electronic apparatus includes a battery monitor circuit which converts the voltage between battery terminals 13a, 13b into a computer-readable battery monitor voltage, a switch monitor circuit which converts the voltage between the battery terminals 13a, 13b having been passed through a momentary switch into a computer-readable switch monitor voltage, etc., and a computer compares the switch monitor voltage with the battery monitor voltage when starting executing a process on receiving electric power, and actuates a latch releasing circuit. |
