<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas plug that connects gas piping and a gas introduction part of a gas appliance and has achieved a high degree of freedom in connection by allowing a user to easily and reliably operate a knob even when the plug's fitting directions and orientations are different.SOLUTION: In a gas plug 1 of a type provided with a cylindrical gas plug body 2, a gas passage that penetrates through the inside of the gas plug body 2, a plug body rotatably accommodated in the gas plug body that can open or close the gas passage depending on the rotation position, and a knob disposed so as to be rotatable integrally with the plug body on the outside surface of the gas plug body 2 in order to rotate the plug body, the knob is composed of a main knob 3, and an auxiliary knob 5 that rotates with the main knob 3 in an interlocking manner through bevel gears 4 and 6. The auxiliary knob 5 is disposed rotatably at the gas plug body 2 at a position where the phase is shifted from the main knob 3 by 90 degrees. In one embodiment, an intermediate gear is provided between the bevel gears 4 and 6.</p> |
