A workstation according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a receiving part receiving identification information of an x-ray detector from an x-ray detector; a control part setting assigned index information of an x-ray detector based on the received identification information of the x-ray detector; an output part displaying the set assigned index information of the x-ray detector; and a transmission part transmitting the set assigned index information of the x-ray detector to the x-ray detector. Also, the x-ray detector according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a transmission part transmitting identification information to the workstation; a receiving part receiving the assigned index information from the workstation after transmitting the identification information; and an output part displaying the assigned index based on the received assigned index information.
