PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device and a laundry processing apparatus having the motor drive device.SOLUTION: A laundry processing apparatus includes: a washing tank; a motor for rotating the washing tank; and a drive part for driving the motor. The drive part includes: an inverter for outputting an AC power source to the motor; an output voltage detection part for detecting an output voltage applied to the motor; and an inverter control part for controlling the inverter on the basis of the output voltage. The output voltage detection part includes: a plurality of resistance elements electrically connected between the inverter and the motor; and a comparator for comparing a voltage detected by a part of the plurality of resistance elements with a reference voltage to detect the output voltage. In a first mode, the output voltage of a pulse width modulation base output from the comparator is output to the inverter control part, and in a second mode, the voltage detected by the other part of the plurality of resistance elements is output to the inverter control part. |
