摘要 依照本发明,提供一种下列通式(1)表示之苯并吡啶并吲哚衍生物,并提供一种有机EL元件,其具有一对电极及夹持在其之间之至少一层有机层,该衍生物作为至少1层有机层之构成材料使用。本发明之苯并吡啶并吲哚衍生物,电子之注入输送性能优异,有电洞阻挡能力,且于薄膜状态之安定性高,有优良特性,所以为有用的高效率、低驱动电压、高耐久性的有机EL元件的材料。 【化1】; and organic electroluminescence devices which have a pair of electrodes and at least one organic layer sandwiched therebetween, and are used as the constituent material of at least one of the organic layer.  The Benzopyridoindole derivatives of the present invention have an excellent electron injection/transporting property, a hole blocking property, a high stability in their thin-film and an excellent property.
