The present invention relates to a thin film transistor substrate for a flat panel display having a repair pattern. The thin film transistor substrate according to the present invention includes: pixel regions which are arranged on a substrate by a matrix method; a thin film transistor formed in each of the pixel regions; a pixel electrode which is formed in each of the pixel regions and is connected to the thin film transistor; a common electrode which is formed in each of the pixel regions and is overlapped with the pixel electrode, while a protection layer is interposed between the pixel electrode and the common electrode; and a repair pattern which is formed inside each of the pixel regions, and is overlapped with parts of the pixel electrode and parts of the common electrode, while a gate insulating layer is interposed between the common electrode and the pixel electrode.
