Disclosed is a variable liquid lens array and a method for manufacturing the variable liquid lens array. The disclosed variable liquid lens array has cells which are formed by arranging wall units on a substrate. The cells include a first fluid, and a second fluid on top of the first fluid. The wall units have a fluid passage through which the first fluid may flow. A cover is joined to the upper surface of the wall units to prevent the second fluid from flowing through the cells.
