PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED license lamp which can illuminate a wide range of a license plate by efficiently utilizing light from each LED while preventing cost increase.SOLUTION: There is provided an LED license lamp 1 which is arranged above a license plate 10 of a vehicle and constituted by storing a substrate 5, and a plurality of LEDs 6a, 6b mounted with a prescribed interval in the width direction on the substrate 5 in a lamp chamber 4 defined by a housing 2 and an outer lens 3. A plurality of incidence planes 31-38 are formed in the width direction with lens cut on the outer lens 3. Light emitted from the LEDs 6a, 6b and incident on the incidence planes 31-38 is refracted and divided in the width direction to irradiate the license plate 10 with the light, and light emitted from the one LED 6b (6a) is made incident on the incidence plane 34 (35) opposing to the other LED 6a (6b) and refracted to emit the light toward the vicinity of the end in the width direction of the license plate 10. |
