Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for heterogeneous carrier aggregation. A method for heterogeneous carrier aggregation includes a step of calculating interference for the interference paths between an adjacent cell and a serving cell, a step of determining a weighted value for accumulating interference for the interference paths in the serving cell, a step of calculating an accumulation value by accumulating interference for interference paths based on the weighted value in the serving cell, a step of determining component carrier used for carrier aggregation based on the accumulation value in the serving cell, and a step of performing carrier aggregation based on the determined component carrier.
