The present invention provides a method for constructing a BCH code for a giga bit passive optical network. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: disposing a bit row of an even number super frame after a first physical synchronization sequence bit row; disposing an even number hybrid error corrected bit row of the even number super frame; disposing a bit row of the even number super frame after the even number hybrid error corrected bit row; disposing a bit row of an identifier of a first passive optical network after the bit row of the even number super frame; disposing a bit row of a physical frame payload after the bit row of the identifier of the first passive optical network; disposing a bit row of a second physical synchronization sequence after the bit row of the physical frame payload; disposing a bit row of an odd number super frame after the bit row of the second physical synchronization sequence; disposing an odd number hybrid error corrected bit row after the bit row of the odd number super frame; disposing a bit row of an identifier of a second passive optical network after the bit row of the odd number hybrid error corrected bit; disposing a bit row of redundancy after the bit row of the identifier of the second passive optical network; and disposing a parity bit after the bit row of redundancy.
