According to the present invention, an earphone apparatus having a hearing protection function of an individual is provided by comprising: a hearing protecting unit, wherein hearing protecting data which corresponds to a maximum output sound pressure level and has a hearing loss risk in each relevant frequency is provided from a hearing protecting information collecting device, and the hearing protecting data is set up and stored as the individual hearing protecting information; a sound source character information generating unit to generate sound source character information by detecting the sound pressure level in each frequency when providing a sound source from a sound source providing device; a sound pressure level controller to generate sound level adjust information, after comparing the sound source character information with the hearing protecting information, and if the sound pressure level in each frequency included in the sound character information is exceeding the maximum output sound pressure level included in the hearing protecting information, reduce the sound pressure level so as to correspond to a smaller level than the maximum output sound pressure level or the maximum sound pressure level, and if sound pressure level is not exceeding the maximum output sound pressure level, the relevant sound pressure level is not to be changed; an equalizing unit to perform an equalizing process for the sound pressure level of the sound source based on the sound pressure level adjust information; a sound output unit to output the equalizing processed sound source through speakers; and a controller to control the configurations. |
