<p>The present invention relates to novel combinations of active agents and methods for treatment of retrovirus infections including HIV infections and AIDS. In particular, the present invention relates to novel use of administrations and combinations of a compound to stimulate the humoral immunity and/or peptides that elicit a cell-mediated immune response in a subject; and immunomodulatory compounds and/or a reservoir purging agent,such as a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor.</p>
