PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beast repellent that has high repellent effect on harmful beasts, has low toxicity to humans, animals, crops and the like, has no fear of causing soil contamination and can be used in a simple and convenient way and to provide a method for repelling beasts.SOLUTION: The beast repellent comprises as an active ingredient a combination of at least one kind of each of compounds selected from cyclic monoterpene alcohols and compounds selected from cyclic sesquiterpenes, uses the active ingredient as it is or as a repellent in a dosage form such as a solid formulation, an oil solution (a liquid formulation), an emulsion, a wettable powder, a paste, a gel, an aerosol agent, a microcapsule or the like by impregnating the active ingredient into an appropriate carrier or mixing the same with the carrier and optionally adding an additive, and is used by any of means of spraying, sprinkling, application, blast-type volatilization and smoking. |
