<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner which scans different scanning object surfaces with a single light source so as to achieve cost reduction by reducing the light source while maintaining high speed and high image quality in image output, and further improves its layout property, and an image forming device thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes light sources 1a and 1b to be modulated and driven, deflection means 7 having a plurality of deflective reflection surfaces, a scanning optical system for guiding light fluxes deflected by the deflection means 7 to the scanning object surfaces. The deflection means 7 comprises a rotary reflection mirror having six deflecting reflection surfaces. Light flux dividing means 4 is provided between the light sources and the deflection means 7 to divide the light flux into a plurality of light fluxes, and to make the divided light fluxes incident to the deflective reflection surfaces of the reflection mirror 7 with angle differences. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
